The digital immortality flower

With this work, I wanted to reflect on the genesis of a new form of life - digital. And what can symbolize life brighter than a flower

Growing from a piece of silicon literally, it represents the becoming of our new digital age. There is a binary code on its petals. They constantly replace each other, depicting the infinity of information flows that we are now forced to constantly perceive.
In the audio track that accompanies this video, a sharp anti-natural sound is wedged into the sounds of a dreamy natural flute. This is what signal processing sounds like inside a computer system... With this sound design, I wanted to underline some unnaturalness of the situation in which we (humanity) are confidently moving.

Eternal rebirth, never ending flow... Even death is not the end in our time. You can sell your face to a movie studio and be in movies for another 100 years. Or your hologram can travel the world on a concert tour after you pass away.

This flower symbolizes digital immortality. So enticing and colorful at first glance and so eerie in its essence.
